Tender cuttings and fresh offshoots have very specific needs. Basicpon provides the ideal growing medium. As it contains no fertiliser, you decide when and how much nourishment young plants receive. The zeolite helps to stabilise the pH level, while pumice and lava ensure optimal aeration for delicate roots.

Application:

• Prepare the drainage: First, add the substrate as a drainage layer to the separating soil so that the water transport works perfectly.
• Create a base: Fill with a thin layer of a chosen substrate until the ideal planting height is reached.
• Planting: Simply place the plant in the container - you don't have to completely remove the old soil from the roots.
• Filling: Fill the container with substrate (the easiest way to do this is with the practical PON tray).
• Growing phase (first 12 weeks): During this time, water the plant as usual from above directly onto the substrate.
• Control the water supply: Make sure you only water moderately at first so that the water reservoir remains empty for the time being.
