The beautiful "Balconera Color 80" planter offers plenty of space for colourful flowering plants. Its ingenious "all-in-one" system with two removable plant boxes and the intelligent sub-irrigation system by Lechuza make this planter the absolute favourite of the balcony season. Whether placed free-standing or attached to the balcony railing with the separately available bracket - the plant box made of UV-resistant polypropylene is always a stylish eye-catcher.
Patented, original Lechuza sub-irrigation system:
- Keeps plants supplied with the optimal amount of water even in extreme heat
- Removable bottom screw ensures that excess water can drain off and thus prevents waterlogging
Practical "all-in-one" planting system: balcony box with removable plant liner
- Retractable, stable handles for quick insertion and removal of even taller plants
- Comfortable planting on the ground or on the potting table
- Easy to transport for overwintering or to quickly move the plants to a dry place when storms are imminent
- Complete dismantling of the balcony box not required

I am very happy with the Lechuza Balonera 80. It is solidly made and looks very elegant. I am in the U.K. and I enjoyed tracking its journey across Europe as it made its way to me.
The one element of the design I would suggest changing is to take away any reliance on straps in the attachment to the balcony rail as it seems to me these will perish before the rest of the planter.Was this rating helpful? (0) (0)

Very pleased with planters. I also bought the brackets for wall mounting and wouldn’t use an alternative as these are made for the planter so are a perfect accompaniment. My only criticism is I felt they were expensive in total given the construction materials.
